10 Dogs You Need To Follow On Instagram Immediately

Monday June 22nd 2015

Despite what you might think, Instagram is not just a place where people post selfies and pictures of their lunch. It's also home to incredible dogs. But with so many dogs to follow, where do you start? These are 10 accounts you need to follow immediately.

Manny (named after the boxer Manny Pacquiao) is possibly the cutest French Bulldog on Instagram. But as well as having a pretty face, Manny has a heart of gold, and regularly contributes to a number of charities looking out for less fortunate Frenchies.

While rumours that the world’s most stylish Shiba Inu is launching his own fashion line have yet to be confirmed, the Menswear Dog has released his first book, should you wish to browse his most fierce looks at your leisure.

Dagger is arguably the Instagram dog; it’s owners include one of the photo-sharing network’s first employees. Despite Dagger’s claim to fame, he’s no diva as you can probably guess from his rather sheepish grins.

Without the videos to prove otherwise, you’d be forgiven for assuming Andrew the red toy poodle was actually a stuffed toy – he’s just so perfectly formed, without a single hair out of place!

If you’re the type of person that believes there’s nothing more beautiful than a Siberian Husky with piercing blue eyes prepare to fall in love with Miles Jacob. Whether snapped dressed up, eating a treat or playing with friends, Miles is always sure to melt your heart.

If you like your dog with a side of cat, then this is definitely the account to follow (they’re often literally side by side, cuddling). Blue and Willie Nelson have a special bond that’s clear for anyone to see – if you thought you weren’t a cat person, prepare to change your mind

Ricky is the ideal antidote for all the perfectly groomed, cutesy dogs that are always photographed with a bow tie or positioned to look as adorable as possible? Never concerned with looking pretty, Ricky loves the wild outdoors and going for a swim.

Until the Queen joins Instagram you’ll have to look elsewhere for your Pembroke Welsh Corgi fix – and you could do much worse than Corgnelius and Stumphrey, two brothers living it up in LA. While they might not have royal blood we think Elizabeth will be quick to follow as soon as she sets up that account…

Whether or not you follow the advice to read Abbey’s post with a British accent, there’s plenty to love here. Abbey is usually photographed looking adorably aloof, making the rare occasions she appears to crack a smile all the more special.

Ok, so technically Dogs of Instagram isn’t a single dog – instead it posts highlights from the best that Instagram has to offer. Beware, however – following this account will inevitably lead to you following even more dog accounts, and ultimately result in 99% of the pictures you see on Instagram being, yes, dogs.
