CAP releases Black Book Mobile
Thursday November 3rd 2011
CAP has unveiled its new mobile version of the Black Book, which enables motorists to keep a track of the latest used-car values.
Black Book Mobile can be accessed from iPhone, iTouch, iPad and Google Android phones and contains the same information as its conventional printed version.
This electronic version will come in handy for anyone interested in knowing the cost of second-hand vehicles.
There is also no need for an internet connection when using this new service.
It comes with features, such as benchmark valuations at six mileage points, new prices and market commentary by CAP's Black Book team.
Other features include retail valuations for used cars, CAP ID and Manufacturer, Model and Derivative selection menus.
Monthly updates of data on used-car values on Black Book Mobile takes place when the printed book and Windows version are released.
If your car gets written off, helpucover will pay the difference between your car insurers valuation at the time of the accident or theft, and the car's value when you purchased Gap Car Insurance.
