Amount you wish to cover? £ ? You can choose to cover your monthly mortgage repayment PLUS up to 25% extra to protect mortgage related expenses such as buildings insurance etc... The amount you wish to cover must not exceed £2,000 per month or 50% of your gross monthly income whichever is less.

Wait period? ? The wait period is the length of time you have to wait before you are entitled to make a claim and receive benefit payments under the policy. The longer the period before you can make a claim, the lower your monthly premiums will be.

Benefit Period? ? You can choose to receive benefit payments for up to 6 months or up to 12 months if you are unable to work due to an accident, sickness or unemployment. Selecting a shorter benefit period can reduce your monthly premium.
