    What is Car Value Protector?

Car Value Protector is a Gap Insurance policy from helpucover. If your car is written off because it is stolen or involved in an accident, this policy covers the difference between the insurance company valuation of your car at the time of the accident or theft, and the value of the car when you originally purchased Car Value Protector.

Why do I need Car Value Protector?

Because purchasing a car is a big investment and cars depreciate in value very quickly. If your car is written off, normal car insurance will pay against the value of the car at the time of the accident or theft, NOT the price you originally paid for it. Gap Insurance makes up the difference.

    Why is this important?

Because cars depreciate significantly in value, without Car Value Protector you could be at risk of major financial loss if your car is written off because of an accident or theft. You will need to spend your personal, hard-earned money to clear any outstanding finance and/or buy a new car of similar value to the one you originally bought.
